I’ve heard bad and good about this store/business. Personally I have had some good experiences purchasing from them (ONLINE ONLY) - They have many great products, although the prices do tend to be higher, so I would recommend maybe going there for just specific items that may be worth it or looking for when they have deals going on. However, aside from the good, unfortunately there is bad. I was told someone that that store/business no longer will be allowing their online EBT members to purchase from their store with EBT via the DOORDASH/ INSTACART app so I went onto the DOORDASH app after knowing I’ve seen it as an option before for many other stores and upon going through the online checkout to check for this store - it did not show up as an option. I then asked someone with EBT to see the comparison from multiple different stores to FRESH TYME MARKET on the checkout of INSTACART. MANY counted the EBT and FRESH TYME MARKET DID NOT! - On the same app. The only available options now aside from the regular service available are HSA/FSA. I am unsure whether this EBT transaction issue affects direct purchases at the store or only online/via apps. However the viewing on the DOORDA

Very kind and helpful staff. This is where I shop to find quality food at reasonable prices. You’ll also find some very special items unique to them. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Love it there!! Great produce, meats & deli sections as well as hard to find, better for you brands of dairy/refrigerated sections. I went in last wk to shop around, hadn't been there in about a year. Talked to meat department to put in a special order for pick up next week since they currently didnt have that product made/in stock. They were super friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable of items & handling the order! Check out/register staff also super helpful when I needed assistance with 2 payment methods at checkout. Not living in Grand Rapids, I may have a different perceptive on this grocery store, but it was great for produce and snacks. They even sell our favorite hummus- Little Sesame from Washington, D.C. My brother used to work here and enjoyed it.

They have great food and stock, carry, and nicely keep locally grown natural and organic fruit and vegetable. They allow me to make from scratch nice food using their quality vegetable which makes me feel good. I bring my reusable produce and grocery bags. I select good salad and best looking choice of lettuce varieties, tomato choice, a carrot variety at best, a radish bundle, and two avocado. I try to stock up on the rest needed for the week’s meals and get a couple of different fruit. Lastly, I search for and hopefully find a unique seasonal choice to newly try. They have a sweet T-bone steak. I wish they were at least in Jacksonville, Florida. 🥩 🥬 🍅 🥕 🥑 🍌🍎 🥒 🧅 🥔 🥝
